Are you passionate about storytelling? Do you want to learn audio journalism and help make a podcast?

You're in the right place! The Bell is looking for young people who want to dive into the world of audio journalism and tell stories about their school communities.

Who is eligible?

All current NYC public high school students. No experience necessary! We encourage students who haven’t previously had access to journalism opportunities to apply.

When and where are the meetings?

Weekly team meetings will take place in person at our office in lower Manhattan.

What will I get out of it?

  • Journalism and multimedia storytelling skills that you can use for a lifetime!

  • New friends and mentors

  • One published podcast episode
