Melissa Groneveldt launched her cookie business in 2020, inspired by the question: “What if people on a keto diet didn’t have to miss out on great desserts?” In the years since, she’s developed a loyal following by baking gluten- and sugar-free treats that delight even the biggest skeptics, selling over 75,000 cookies. By naming the business “Monshe” in honor of her mother, Melissa celebrates her family legacy while infusing each of her bakes with tradition, intention and love.
Jacob Chase is a senior in a dual enrollment program at George Westinghouse High School and The Brooklyn STEAM Center in Brooklyn. He’s currently studying video production and video journalism at the STEAM Center. Jacob's always doing his best to be a key part in the betterment of his community as he takes part in many leadership programs including My Brother's Keeper and The Leaders of Tomorrow.
